About 10 years ago I purchased my first Aerobed and loved it. I took it camping, took it too Hawaii as a spare bed, my son used it in his dorm for a while and I used it as a guest bed numerous times. It was heavy, a bit smelly but worked as advertised. I have probably used it over 100 times without incident. So I decided to order another Aerobed since they were 54% off on Amazon.com. When I recieved the new one I immediatly noticed that it was a lot lighter than the old one. When I filled it with air I also noticed that the material felt softer than the old one and the new one has a fuzzy surface while the old one was just plain plastic. I had some company in town for about two weeks so they started sleeping on the new one. Within a week of sleeping on the Aerobed that was put on a carpeted surface it sprung a leak. We spent over an hour trying to find the leak and couldn't. We finally sprayed it with some soapy water and after another hour found a pin hole size hole on one of the seams. The patches supplied with the Aerobed are useless because they do not stick to the fuzzy surface. I pulled out the old Aerobed and they enjoyed the rest of their stay on the old bed without any incident.
Obviously Aerobed is now making an inferior quality product made of a thinner material that is not as durable as it used to be. I figured that the old bed weighed about 2 - 3 pounds more than the same size new one. Considering the price paid, I was very dissappointed and will show more respect for my old Aerobed hoping that it lasts much longer.Aerobed Guest Choice Twin Inflatable Bed

I was disappointed with this bed. I had a few friends stay over and sleep on this - and every time the bed would be practially flat in the morning. I gave it a test myself and it wasn't a good nights sleep at all. By morning I was lying on the ground pretty much. There must have been a defect/leak on mine the whole time.
One positive is the inflating motor is very good/easy to use. It inflates very quickly and efficiently.
I am exchanging this with Aerobed in hopes of getting a mattress that does not leak. Definitely not worth the $75 price if all their products are this quality. Judging by other people's review of this product, this bed seems to be hit or miss.

Bought this air mattress because it was an aerobed. Have not actually slept on it yet but did inflate and it seems to be nice and firm and I am looking forward to using it for guests.
