My daughter and her husband and my husband and I purchased these chairs primarily to take to softball and baseball games that our granddaughter and grandson have been playing this summer. The fact that we could take our own shade with us has been unbelievably nice. I can't tell you how many people have asked us where we got these chairs. At the 4th of July parade this weekend, several people walking in the parade came over to us to comment on the chairs and to ask where we got them. These chairs are sturdy and are very easy to set up and take down. We have been using chairs with bags for years and these new chairs are so much easier to use as they just fold up and snap together when you are ready to leave. We recommend them as the chairs of the future. I don't see us going back to regular camp chairs at all.

I wanted some sort of protection from the sun when watching our granddaughters' softball games. This chair kept me cool and comfortable and best of all, no sunburn.

This chair is quality all the way around. Materials, design, way it folds/carries.
My husband is 250 lbs, and cannot handle sun light due to illness. This chair allows him to go to our son's games, etc and be covered from the sun. The chair is comfy, and the sun visor/cover is large and does a great job covering a large guy!
We looked at others like it in Target, Walmart, Garden Ridge...this is the only one that was quality, and the price is good too!

I purchased these very same Kelsyus Canopy Chairs from Sears 1 year ago, March 2009. They were used 5 or 6 times, then stored inside. I brought them out to discover the black plastic straps holding the canopy roof had literally crumbled and disintegrated. I called Sears "customer service", and because it has been a year, they would not assist me in replacement, and told me to contact Kelsyus. See photos here: [...]
After posting this review, I did contact Kelsius, and they replaced the chairs at no cost. The faulty roof straps were now made of canvas, with an inner reinforcement layer. Good move, since these support the weight of the chair when it's folded and carried. Thank you, Kelsius --- hope these chairs last longer then the originals!
